Start at Midgehole and through Walshaw, and Walshaw Dean Lower Reservoir. Across the valley and via Graining Water and the Pennine Way back to Gibson Mill in Hardcastle Crags.

From Ramsbottom head up the Rake to Higher Tops and on to Arden Ratchers. Returning via Irwell Vale.

From Yarrow Country Park the route goes through Astley Park, into Chorley and along the Leeds canal to a muddy Birkacre Park.

Start at Torver then climb to Brown Pike along Dow Crag to Goats Hawse. Start the descent to Goats Water and round Nettle Crag back to Coniston.

Start at Garstang and past Grizedale Reservoir, over Nicky Nook, by Wyresdale Lake and return through Scorton

From Burnsall follow the Wharfe to Kail Lane to Sheepfold to Hell Hole and to Skyreholme Beck. Past Parcevall Hall over Howgill to join the Wharfe then follow this back to Burnsall.

Start at the junction of the B6255 and the Dent road at Newby Head and climb up to the Pennine Way. Follow this into Gayle and then on to Hawes and Hardraw Force.

Start in Grassington and the Dales Way to Grass Wood, along the River Wharfe to Hebden and back to Grassington

From Malham Walk to the base of the Cove then climb the 410 steps to the top. Proceed to Malham Tarn and return via Gordale Scar and Janet’s Foss

Starting in Todmorden go through Withens Gate to Stoodley Pike , Dicks Lane, along the Pennine Bridleway to Mankinholes and return via the Rochdale Canal. 9.5 miles.

From a layby on the A5209 go through Appley Bridge and Parbold to return via Harrock Hill.

Meeting at Tockholes Visitor Centre walk over Darwen Hill,SunnyHurst Woods and Tockholes. Return via Roddlesworth Woods
